What to expect from a free tile estimate in Tampa
What we measure, what we ask and what the written number includes when we come out to quote a tile job in Tampa.

Most people call us with a photo and a rough idea of a room. That is enough to start a conversation, but it is not enough to price a job. Tile is measured and installed by the square foot, and the gap between a fair number and an unpleasant surprise is almost always in the things a photo does not show: how flat the floor is, what sits underneath it, and where the cuts are going to land. So the first visit is a measuring visit.
Two things to have ready
First, a rough idea of the look you want — a couple of saved photos is plenty. Second, whether the material is already chosen. We can supply the tile through our trade suppliers or install tile you have already bought; either way we check that it is rated for where it is going, because a wall tile on a shower floor, or a polished stone in a walkway, is the kind of problem you only discover months later. If you are repairing or extending existing tile, keep a spare piece: one leftover tile saves a lot of guesswork when we go looking for a match. There is more on how we work in tile installation in Tampa.
What happens during the visit
We measure the room properly instead of pacing it out, check the substrate for flatness and movement, look at doorways and transitions, and note where the layout will force cuts. In a bathroom we look at the wet area and how it is currently waterproofed. In a kitchen we look at the outlets, the range wall and where the backsplash should end. This is also when we tell you if something in the plan is going to fight you later — large-format tile over a floor that needs serious levelling, for example. We work in English and Spanish, so it helps if whoever actually makes the decision is there.
What you get afterwards
A written estimate, free, room by room, with material and labour separated so you can see exactly what changes if you change the tile. Every room is priced individually after we measure — we do not quote a whole house over the phone, because that would only be a guess. If the budget needs spreading out, financing runs from 12 to 60 months.
The estimate also carries the schedule. A backsplash is often one to two days. A full bathroom is typically one to two weeks including waterproofing and cure time. Whole-home floors depend on square footage. We keep one room usable wherever it is possible.
